Larger diameter launch rod with extra strength and length for D and E engine rockets.
- 3/16” Maxi Rod Accessory Item • This 3/16″ (5 mm) diameter two-piece launch rod is necessary for most of our larger rockets that are powered by C11, D and E Engines. • Can be used in the 2215 Porta-Pad II or 2238 Porta-Pad E launch pad. • Also works great when used as an alignment tool on model rockets that require two launch lugs. • Estes model rocketry is recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12. Unless otherwise specified, all models require assembly. Tools, construction and finishing supplies sold separately. In order to launch, a launch system, model rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding are required – sold separately-unless otherwise specified.
